Colorado's Alpha Capital Family Offices Recruits Ex-Northern Trust Figure

Alpha Capital Family Offices, based in Denver, has recruited former Northern Trust figure Tom Riley to join and lead portfolio management at the firm.

Working for more than two decades in wealth and investment management, Riley was in charge of more than $500 million of assets for ultra-high net worth investors at Northern Trust.

Earlier in his career, Riley served as portfolio manager at Colorado State Bank & Trust. He began his career as an assistant portfolio manager at First Data Corporation.

Riley, who holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, previously served as president and board member at the CFA® Society Colorado. Riley earned an MBA from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business and a BS in finance from the University of Colorado Boulder.
